Instead of giving every consonant the same amount of practice, Level 1 targets commonly confused consonants, including:

Students also receive dedicated practice with common lowercase letter reversals, including b, d, j, a, g, and z.

Activities use pictures, movement, drawing, games, and memorable associations to help children hear the difference, remember the sound, and retrieve it for reading and spelling.
